Day 10… I admit that I wasn’t that impressed with Valencia, but today was a play day and changed my mind.

Up until about 30 years ago there was a river that flowed through town that always flooded. They diverted the water and it is now a beautiful greenbelt with parks and amazing structures. We saw the City of Art & Science, which includes several museums along with Oceanografic, the largest aquarium in Europe, and the best one I’ve ever seen. That is where we spent most of today.

it seems that there is more to this town than I realized, and after being here for a week and a half it is feeling more comfortable not understanding most of the language that is taking place around me. This comfort zone thing is a challenge to extricate yourself from.
