Manopause is an online magazine that caters to “older dudes,” so I’m writing for them about our travel experiences from This Olde Dudes perspective. It’s called Airplane Travel In The Third Decade of the 21st Century

This piece shares the different generations, ie, versions of travel that we have lived through over the past 60 years. Version one, the fifties and sixties, were the beginning of “mass airline travel,” airplanes (jets) got faster, they carried more people, prices got lower, and the “everyman” was able to enjoy it. Version two (recently) ended, and was our heyday, when online airline access and cheap prices to EVERYWHERE made travel fun! Not so much anymore.

What will version III look like over the next few years? That’s what I share, so I hope you enjoy it.
