Since we’ve been in Tirana we’ve heard about this huge retail store just outside town called MegaTek. We finally got a chance to visit the other day and IT super ginormous! It’s also a tedious one hour bus ride, but it is what it is.
I don’t know the square footage of the behemoth, but it’s like a hybrid of a Costco/ Walmart/ Ikea and Home Base. They offer home furniture, tools, decorating ideas (including “set up rooms” like IKEA does), and lots of plumbing and lighting. But what REALLY blew us away was their Christmas decorating area which was still being unpacked and open to the public. It was the largest display of anything you’d ever want for Christmas!
