When you live in Vietnam (Asia) and it’s wet (rainy) season, you either stay inside or you adapt. That means parkas and rain gear and riding without socks… and it ain’t pretty, but it’s effective.

The locals don’t get intimidated by the rain and life goes on. BTW, this picture was BEFORE I left for the gym, and I made it there mostly dry, but

 afterwards; the sky opened up and I waited 30 minutes to head home before I realized I had NO IDEA if or when it would stop. (It didn’t) But once you get 100% wet, you can’t get any wetter! At least it’s easier to deal with in 75 degree temps.
